About the Hub
The SYP Community Hub offers a comprehensive range of services from faxing and photocopying, colour copying, photo inkjet printing, scanning and photo retouching to document binding and folding.
As a regional Agency for Centrelink and Service SA we offer a number of convenient services that help the community in many ways. The Hub can undertake both Driver Theory Tests and Boat Licence Theory tests as well as being able to register motor vehicles, boats and trailers. We have numerous Government forms and information available as well as being able to verify and fax Centrelink documents to wherever they are required to be sent.
We have a range of tourist information brochures to offer visitors as well as having a wealth of knowledge about the local area.
The Hub is also home to the Salt Lakes Gallery which has provided an outlet for local artisans, and the opportunity for visitors and the local community to access unique gifts – really worth the visit.
The Hub is run by the SYP Community Hub Inc. as a non-profit organisation that depends on the community using its services so it can afford to keep up with the latest technology advances and pass them on to the community.

Our Government Services
Centrelink Agent
The SYP Community Hub is a Regional Agency for Centrelink. We offer a phone, fax and computer service for all Centrelink lodgements.
We have available an extensive range of Centrelink forms as well as a large range of brochures outlining the assistance available through Centrelink.
We also stock a range of Department of Veterans’ Affairs forms and brochures.
Service SA Agency
The SYP Community Hub provides a variety of Government Services to the Southern Yorke Peninsula community under the banner of Service SA.
This means that clients no longer need to travel to Kadina to access a large variety of motor vehicle related services.

Salt Lakes Gallery
The Salt Lakes Gallery has provided an outlet for local artisans to showcase their talent and the opportunity for visitors and the local community to access unique gifts.
The gallery has a large range of gifts that include handmade candles, jewellery, knitted toys, art, ceramics, prints, furniture, cards and so much more.
Tourist Information
The Hub provides a large range of tourist information in the form of brochures and booklets. They also offer internet access for visitors either through the use of their computer suite or wirelessly with visitors using their own computers/tablets.
The friendly staff can also answer many questions in regards to what to see and do in the local area.

Computer Classes & Computer Club
Computer Classes
The SYP Community Hub runs a range of computer courses throughout the year. Some are Free as they are funded through a grant while others have a small fee. All courses are designed to help beginners to increase their computer knowledge. Please contact the Hub for details of upcoming classes.
Computer Club
Every Monday afternoon the Hub runs a 2 hour Computer Club. The club is designed to be a social get together for anyone wishing to update their computer skills or get help or advice with any issues they may be struggling with. It has a small fee of $10 per visit and we are always welcoming new Club members.
